Custom Staff Portal

Chosen twice to present nationally on novel use of the CRM Slate to address administrative processes.

By recognizing the flexible power of the CRM she managed, Emily successfully redesigned the data infrastructure of the database to accommodate administrative process management, in addition to the standard use-case of recruiting prospective students. Her design was so innovative that it was chosen two years in a row for the national Slate Innovation Summit. The original idea was so novel that the event staff had to escalate the presentation proposal to the Director of West Coast, who not only approved but elected to replace the moderator of the session. Emily's design used the foundation principles of a relational database to create a parallel dataset to the User table that would allow system users to interact with technical assets similarly to primary/lead records. This allowed them to register for events (such as trainings), submit forms (like requests, surveys, or training quizzes), and receive campaign messages (like data entry reminders). By creating a shared key, Emily was able to combine data points from both the user and "'staff" table in a custom microsite that made the user experience for staff seamless. Emily designed and managed all visual and functional aspects of the CRM, including but not limited to: - training

- security

- communications

- events

- data integrity

- integrations

- new development
